A Luxe “Old European Money” Bridal Fashion Story at Omni La Costa Resort

There’s something timeless about the elegance of “Old European Money” style — an effortless blend of refinement, luxury, and understated glamour. Recently, I photographed a fashion story featuring the latest designs from PLATINUM by Christina Wu, at a location that has the allure of a European luxury resort but is nestled into the pretty town of Carlsbad, CA: the beautifully renovated Omni La Costa Resort.

As a fashion photographer specializing in bridal couture and fine jewelry, I excel in capturing intricate details and presenting them in their best light. My goal is to create imagery that elevates gowns, accessories, and the overall atmosphere into unforgettable visual stories.

For this production, we designed a world that felt both regal and contemporary: a striking cherry-red Ferrari, bowls of ripe cherries, and the sparkle of French Champagne, all set against the sunlit architecture of the resort. The gowns and veils from PLATINUM by Christina Wu became the centerpiece — their luxurious fabrics, intricate beadwork, and flowing silhouettes photographed in a way that felt editorial yet timeless.
